Conseco India Delivery Model (CDM) is driven by the highest matured processes and quality standards. The CDM is a great value multiplier and it adds a greater competitive advantage as well. The focus of delivery model is to get best talent wherever it is located and applying that talent to the Conseco needs. As such Conseco India aims at 'customer delight' through a high value delivery model that optimizes skills and minimizes the cost.

The CDM incorporates offshore project management, seamless communication and efficient source delivery methodologies. The delivery model emphasizes addressing risks in service delivery and achieving 'customer satisfaction'.

The CDM consists of TWO delivery types.

Offshore Delivery

This model best suits projects with a well-defined 'Project Plan'. The associates interact on a regular basis with the internal clients to manage the requirements. Interaction takes place through fax, telephone, email, instant messaging and Video Conferencing. The internal client is always up to date with the project status through the project tracking system, as well as all the relevant project related documentation though the Standard Application Framework For Enterprise(SAFE) application.

While an offshore model is the most cost-effective solution for Conseco, the model has an inherent high level of risk. Risk management in therefore is a critical success factor. A risk plan document listing risks and contingency plan is setup and maintained to make sure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Onsite Delivery

There are times when the project scope is not clearly defined, or the project is open-ended, iterative in nature. For such situations, Conseco India prefer to use an Onsite Delivery Model where work is performed at Conseco. During the assignment Conseco India associates report to the onsite project manager and also report back to India office on a regular basis.

Conseco India provides onsite co-ordinators, consultants and programmers in relevant areas and technologies to Conseco. They provide onsite services like requirements capture and technology assessment, creating functional specifications, design, coding, testing, maintenance and production support.
